This will come as no surprise to those of you who seek out nature daily. Research (and more research) has shown that connecting to nature can make you a better and healthier human! Even in such small doses as sitting under a tree, resting in a park, watching the moonrise, listening to wind rustling in the trees, going for a walk outside or jumping in the ocean.
Connecting with nature can also make you less susceptible to diseases such as Type 11 Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Stress/Anxiety AND can give you a better sleep and overall health outcomes.
We had a really nourishing time on our recent Nature Connection, Ecology & Rewilding Workshop at ‘Woonoongoora’, Binna Burra Lodge QLD on Yugambeh country. We learnt some really valuable nature connection techniques with Wildlife Ecologist Caitlin Weatherstone such as sit spots, bird watching, how to rewild in the modern world and bush walking.
